As lessons commenced for the first semester of academic year 22/23, the hustle and bustle of student life have returned to campus. Here is week 1 in pictures.
The NTU Football Men’s Team held their training at the Lower Field on Aug 12 under a full moon which rose at 7.40 pm.

The start of teaching week meant large crowds outside the lecture theatres in North Spine and students made their way to their first classes of the semester.
The walkway linking North Spine and South Spine saw streams of students and faculties making their way between the two academic complexes throughout the day.
Crowds returned to The Arc as students headed to their tutorial rooms for lessons, bringing chatter to the lift lobbies, stairs and corridors.
North Spine’s Koufu was packed with diners as students and faculties headed over to the food court for their lunch before continuing with their day.
With Covid-19 measures relaxed, NTU welcomed freshmen with a physical Welcome Week from August 10 to 12. Over a hundred booths from the Students’ Union, Cultural Activities Club, Welfare Services Club, Sports Club, Varsity Sports Association and non-constituent clubs were scattered across North Spine and Academic Building North.
A Hot Hideout located at Banyan Hall, a popular dining spot for many, saw a long queue on Friday evening (Aug 12). Diners had to wait for close to an hour before getting to select the ingredients they wanted for their meal.
Residents of Hall of Residence 4 buying boxes of bee hoon from Raydy Beehoon for supper on Aug 12. The popular food truck resumed its operations on July 24 with the start of orientation programmes on campus.
