Multiple sports facilities in NTU are undergoing upgrading works up until late September.

According to a notice put up in the Sports and Recreation Centre (SRC), the running track, used for training by the cross-country and track-and-field teams, will be closed from June 12 to Sept 25.

When Soapbox visited the SRC on Saturday (June 18), the rubber track had been stripped.

Other facilities closed for renovation include the squash courts, basketball courts, multipurpose courts, the futsal court and the children’s court.

Upgrades for the other facilities are scheduled for completion by July 31, with the dates subject to change.
